Click on the picture of the Bar LEs for a photo of the color on skin. We'll also be putting up a page of all the swatches on skin together too. Some of the Bar colors contain superfine microglitter which is in fact eyesafe, but we do indicate which ones they are in the description. NO SAMPLES FOR LEs!
ABSINTHE LOUCHE: Oh happy day, we got one of our favorite green/gold base micas back in to play with- this color has the same base shade that Poison Pen and Venus Fly trap had- a metallic, lustrous greengold, amped up with some fabulous chartreuse glitter. This color contains superfine, eyesafe microglitter.
CHAMPAGNE AT MIDNIGHT: Bubbly bright mix of gold and silver sparkle. This doesn't apply yellow or show yellow; the gold is subtle, not bright. Perfectly translucent, very high sparkle.
GRAPE JELLO SHOTS: To be paired with Vile Hangover. Bright medium purple with a pink undertone, but applies very soft and translucent despite the bright color, pearl shimmer with purple glitter. This color contains superfine eyesafe microglitter.
HURRICANE: Red berry wine color. Deep and intense, less brownish and a bit warmer than Dead Roses, with silver glitter. This color contains a superfine eyesafe glitter.
LEMON DROP: Soft pale golden yellow, slightly translucent. Intense gold sparkle and a hint of a lime green shimmer.
PAN GALACTIC GARGLE BLASTER: For those fellow dorks out there. Super bright intense grassy green, slightly translucent with gold sparkle.
STRAWBERRY MARGARITA: Intense bright pink, opaque and satiny with silver glitter. This color contains ultrafine eye safe glitter.
TEQUILA SUNRISE I: Intense bright pink, opaque and satiny with silver glitter. This color contains ultrafine eye safe glitter.
TEQUILA SUNRISE II: V
TEQUILA SUNRISE II: To be paired with Tequila Sunrise I… this is a soft almost-opaque satiny peachy golden shade with intense gold sparkle.

ABALONE: This is a medium cool silvergrey with intense rainbow sparkle. Use this as the mid-tone shade for a smokey eye look, with Oil Slick and Soap Bubble. Opaque finish.
ABYSSINIAN: Inspired by the warm ruddiness of an Abyssinian kitty's fur, this is a warm medium cinnamony brown, with a reddish undertone to it. It is infused with a heaping dose of red sparkle.
ALEXANDRIA: Warm deep peach with a bit of pink to it, and gold sparkle. Also sold as a lip color on the lip product page.
ANGEL DUST: Sweet and innocent? A true neutral, this versatile highlight shade can also be used as a cheek color for the palest complexions. A very pearly ivory with a wisp of peachy pink, there is a silver sparkle to add interest.
ANGEL OF INDULGENCE: Dark iridescent turquoise teal blue, but tip it to the side and a velvety deeper midnight blue/purple reveals itself; green sparkle. Dark and intense, shimmery and the sparkle is quite restrained really. (This is the most wearable dark teal I've ever tried.) I'd have to say this is the least accurate swatch picture ever- it'll be updated in a day or two.
ANTIQUE PLATINUM: Old platinum jewelry develops a lovely greyish patina, yet still glows silvery-white. This color mimics the under-tone of the patina, with the palest of neutral greyish/purple/taupe undertones and intense whitesilver shine and shimmer. Incredibly flattering and pretty. Not lip safe.
APOCALYPSE MEOW: Sheer, hint of pinkish nude color with intense sparkle of green and shimmery pale green highlight- really cute with thick black liner. This is also a fabulous cheek color.
archy: A great roachy warm chocolate brown, but with intense silver sparkle rather than the expected gold. Meant to pair with mehitabel.
ARTEMESIA: A velvety warmer plum purple with intense silver sparkles.
ASH FLOWER: Ghostly ashen silver grey bruised with the barest hint of violet tinged blue, with silver sparkles. Not lip safe.
AUTUMN LEAVES: Reminiscent of the color of early-autumn aspens in Colorado. Very unusual color flashes with green iridescence, yet has a yellow/gold base and hints of coral around the edges. Silver sparkle. Applies opaque and shimmery. Reformulated beginning 9/1/08.
BACK TO THE SEA: Fit for a sea goddess. Light sea bluegreen with strong gold iridescence and shimmer. Not lip safe.
BEETLEWING: Shimmery multilayered color- the most striking aspect is the iridescent green highlight, with a neutral grey/purple/taupe base. This is similar to Silk, but lighter in tone and more iridescent. Not lip safe.
BELA'S GRAVE: Intensely sparkly midtone greygreen, remarkably wearable, with a bit of a warmer tone at some angles- almost a hint of brownish gold. This one tends to look like several colors in one when applied, it does its own highlights and lowlights, very dimensional and subtle.
BENGAL: The color of a Bengal kitty's coat- a pretty honey brown with strong sparkle. Has some grey tones and is a darker shade of brown.
BETTIE'S BANGS: Perfect as a wet liner. Deepest velvety black with sparkly blue highlights.
BITTER/SWEET: Deep dark velvety black brown- the color of black tar heroin, coffee, or a silky chocolate. A bit of gold shimmer.
BRAT PRINCE: This color is the darkest of the trio which includes Goddess of Destruction and Devil's Road. We like to apply this trio like a smokey eye. Brat Prince is a soft deep brown, cool but not grey with a subtle gleam of gold iridescence. Silky pearl finish with a hint of shimmer, not sparkly. Opaque. (Together these three are great for imitating the eye makeup in that one movie Aaliya starred in.)
BROKEN ANGEL: Another uber-blackened color. This one has a beautiful, iridescent sheen flashing from deep teal at an acute angle to silvergreen straight on, with blue sparkle. Satiny and beautiful.
BURLESQUE REVIVAL: Looks dove grey in the pot, and in the picture, but when applied it reveals a spectacular pinkish iridescence and a moderate silver sparkle. Applies fairly opaque.
BURNING WATER: This color is very unusual. It is deep graphite grey at first glance, but it has a subtle brownish red undertone and an intense green iridescence and loads of green sparkle. For all that it is quite wearable.
CALL OF THE BUNYIP: A lush squashed berry color, with a translucent, iridescent quality. It has a bluish purple glow straight on, but it flashes to a hint of brick red at acute angles. Purple sparkle.
CANDY CANE KISSES: Pairs perfectly with Unwrap Me. This is a really cool shade! While it looks like a hint-of-pink in the pot, it applies as a translucent mix of intense red and white sparkle. Contains eye safe ultra-fine plastic glitter.
CAT'S PAW: Very similar to Burning Water, but satiny/shimmery rather than intensely sparkly; a deep gunmetal grey with an interesting green shimmer and a hint of a brick red undertone.
CHILD OF HOUNDS: This unique color has a warm pale apricot look in the pot. Applied it becomes even more unusual. It retains the apricot undertone, but then the intense green shimmer shows up clearly, and the light russet sparkle is apparent. Tilt it at an acute angle, and the green iridesence disappears and flashes into pink. Despite the everything-and-the-kitchen-sink description, it is actually surprisingly wearable. The warmth is understated and the effect is reasonably translucent. (Somewhat like Autumn Leaves, but more translucent and less orangey, and with russet sparkle rather than silver.)
CHINA WHITE: A crystalline barely pink base with a pile of aquamarine and purple sparkle. Great highlight color, it's a nice balance between sheer and opaque.
CHUBBY SKELLITON: Like the outer skin of blackpurple plums- it has a blue iridescent haze to it and a deep, rich velvety plummy base, with pinkred flecks of sparkle. The picture washes it out a lot but it's close to true for the color. The purple-ness is pretty restrained in this shade. This color was created by Kelli (hence the spelling), and it's fabulous, one of my new personal favorites!
CICATRIX: This is a really gorgeous color- a deep iridescent leaf green, at first glance, but tip it to an acute angle and it has a pink flash. Deep and dark, shimmery and with a small hint of purple sparkle.
CONJUNCTION: A very intense, un-natural pure blueish purple with a veil of iridescence, turquoise from straight on, with purple flashing from the side. Aqua sparkles. Medium shimmer. Opaque. Related to Datura, but more opaque and the purple is more aggressive. This is one hell of a strong color, the antithesis of subtle!
CORPSE CANDLE: This an intense, densely velvety and iridescent eerie blue teal shade, with blue and green sparkle. This is maybe the bluest of the teals recently added.
CYDONIA: Third “fraternal twin” to Beetlewing and Silk. This eerie shimmery color is a greyed out purplebrown base, fairly pale, with an intense green iridescence. Applies neutral with the green iridescence the most noticeable aspect. Not lilp safe.
DARK OUIJA: The complexity and depth of this color is difficult to photograph, let alone describe. The base color is almost a dark shimmery navy blue, yet it has some purple and grey mixed in with it. It has the same iridescence as Kitsune- a purple flash shows at certain angles. Not lip safe.
DATURA: Gorgeous poisonous bluish purple. Cool slightly translucent purple with a hint of purpleblue iridescent sheen, highlighted with a major aqua sparkle. Not lip safe. Similar to Exquisite Corpse, but noticeably cooler and bluer in tone. Very intense color.
DAWNLIGHT: Goes well with Machine Darkness, and Morningstar. This is a mid-tone pinkred with intense sparkle, translucent and warm.
DAYBREAK AEVAL: Bright teal with a bit of gold sparkle. This is one of the greener teals… the intense gold sparkle is the unique factor in this one. Shimmery and tropical. Part of a trio, including Twilight Aeval and Midnight Aeval too.
DEAD ROSES: A deep berry burgundy/russet color, with lots of burgundy glittery sparkle. Intense and deep.
DEADLY NIGHTSHADE: Complex, twilit greygreen, like the edges of stormclouds. Deep silver grey with a hint of green iridescence and silver sparkle.
DEATH'S HEAD: Beautiful shimmery deep warm brown base with intense green sparkle.
DEEP SUNLESS SEA: Depthless frigid bluegreen, blackened and cold. Flecked with sunny gold sparkle. Not lip safe.
DESERT RAIN: Soft translucent worn-denim blue, with matching sparkle. Hint of pinkpurple iridescence.
DEUS EX MACHINA: "God in the Machine" A favorite lazy-writer's plot device, and now a sparkly eye color. This has the same beautiful base green as Sacred Scarab, but with intense silver sprkle instead of gold. The green is a true opaque grass green with a complexity to it that makes it very like an iridescent beetle wing. One of the few greens that is lip safe.
DEVIL'S FROST: This is a fun Halloween shade, deep black with intense orange sparkle.
DEVIL'S ROAD: This is the midtone shade of the trio including Goddess of Destruction and Brat Prince. This is matched very close in color to Brat Prince, but lighter and with more subtle gold highlight. Silky pearl finish, no sparkle. Opaque. We love doing a smokey eye with these three. (Together these three are great for imitating the eye makeup in that one movie Aaliya starred in.)
DIRTY BLONDE: Soft off-ivory with hint of peach non-color; moderate gold shimmer... akin to Seelie but more subtle. Good highlight, especially on cheeks.
DUNGEON: Warm golden brown, moderate gold shimmer, very very wearable and flattering. Medium tone. Very basic and universally flattering brown, not flashy, though there is some shimmer present.
EMPTY HEART: Grey taupe brown with bright desolate blue sparkle, with a hint of purple around the edges. Silky and opaque.
ENDLESS WINTER: A wintry, chilly plummy purple hinting towards brown- very similar to Empty Heart but, despite the closeness in shade, Endless Winter is definitely plummy purple with a brownish tone, rather than brownish with a purple cast. Sparkles with frigid blue. Not lip safe.
EPIPHANY: A lovely shimmery dark charcoal grey with intense silver and purple sparkle, related to The Black Dahlia but sparklier and lighter grey.
ERIS'S SONG: Iridescent bluegreen, with strong golden shimmer... the finish is somewhere between pearly and shimmery- definitely not sparkly. More intensely bluegreen than Back to the Sea, less golden. Applies opaque. Not lip safe.
EROTIC UNDERGROUND: Flat out gorgeous color- this one has a velvety grey satiny silverypink look straight on, but tip it to the side and see it change to a blackened green, and has a tiny bit of blue sparkles. Looks very multidimensional when applied, like several shades rolled into one.
EXQUISITE CORPSE: Surprisingly flattering- sheered out true purple with a bit of aqua iridescence and major aqua sparkle. Not lip safe.
FABIENNE: A blackened deep olive green, no blues here. Intense russet red sparkle. It has an iridescent quality to it too, and applies opaque. Unique and very wearable. Not lip safe. Reformulated 9/1/08.
FAERIE LIGHT: A quizzical shimmery velvety iridescent greysilver with an intense pink flash at an acute angle, with a bit of purple sparkle.
FALSE SPRING: A gold hued spring green, opaque and with gold sparkle. Not lip safe.
FEATHERED SERPENT: This golden/peach color is somewhat like Child of Hounds, but peachier and pinker in appearance. It is opaque, iridescent and very shimmery.
FOOL IN THE RAIN: Taupe with a hint of purple around the edges, laced with platinum and orchid shimmer.
FOXFIRE: This is somewhat similar to Beetle Wing- a light neutral with a strong green iridescence, which flashes to pink at acute angles. Moderate satiny shimmer, opaque, and medium to light in tone.
FUCHSIAS FOR SIMON: Startling yet wearable. This applies a sheered out fuchsia with an intense bluegreen iridescence and green sparkle. The result is really surprisingly wearable and flattering (especially with unnatural hair colors ;-) ) A part of the mini-series originally created for a friend named after her beloved kitties- Simon was her very favorite. The others in the series are Sly, Maxfield Blue, and Luna.
FROZEN CHARLOTTE: Doll-like and icy. A sheer translucent bluish shimmer with just the barest hint of lavender undertones. Not lip safe.
FROZEN WASTELAND: Melancholy tarnished silver with ice blue sparkle, opaque and medium in tone.
GHOST DANCE: This is a dark iridescent blue that flashes to purple at an acute angle, spiced up with a bit of orchid pink sparkle.
GLASS COFFIN: A brittle, delicately translucent crystalline color. Shimmering veils of turquoise iridescence layered over a hint of delicate violet, with turquoise sparkle. Not lip safe.
GLOOMY SUNDAY: Perfect neutral that won't clash with any lip color you choose, an all-purpose flattering no-brainer color, yet it isn't brown or boring. Light, with silvery sparkles, it's neutral but greyish-taupe-lavender based, not beige.(Note: Madame Terpsichore is very much like Gloomy Sunday, but it is amped up with even more silver sparkles, and the base color is a teeny bit more intense to balance the extra sparkle). Not lip safe.
GODDESS OF DESTRUCTION: We designed Goddess of Destruction to be the highlight shade paired with Brat Prince and Devil's Road. We like it as a highlight on tear ducts and browbones . especially with this combo- it adds a silken golden gleam. This is a beautiful glowing golden/peach hue, with an iridescent quality to it. Would be a knockout soft gold on darker skin colors, but on lighter skin the peachy base is more visible. (Together this trio is great for imitating the eye makeup in that one movie Aaliya starred in.)
GRAVY: his is so beautiful with Turkey! It is a medium golden tan-brown, with a crazy amount of intense sparkle, mostly silver but some gold too- yummy! Looks lovely on all eye colors, but especially makes blue eyes pop.
GREEN GODDESS: Looks like a strong yellowgreen in the pot, but applies a soft, pale, extremely translucent shimmery spring green color with lots of gold shimmer and a coppery sparkle. Not lip safe.
GUTTERBRAIN: Corally brown gold medium sparkle, with the barest hint of yellowgreen. Not lip safe.
HARLOT STAR: A fabulously complex light tanzanite bluegreypurple shade with lots of shimmer and deep blue turquoise sparkle.
HELL'S KITTEN: Complex, subtle, yet feisty. Silverized velvety violet with multicolored sparkle. Not lip safe.
ICECICLE MOON: Stormy and icy. Medium pewter grey shimmer with a slight blue undertone and a hint of purple iridescence. Not lip safe.
INTEGRA'S DOG I: Redder than red is red. Incarnadine, sanguine, just freaking BLOODY red. This is the sort of true red that you rarely see in an eyeshadow. With matching intense red sparkle. Deep and lush and totally wild. (Note- this is the bright arterial bloody version of the Integra Dogs; on some it may turn pinkish, however on others it is pure "f-me" red.)
INTEGRA'S DOG II: This is the deeper, clotted blood version. On my pale skin, this is more of an almost burgundy red, but still bloody and intense with red sparkles.
JADITE: Light soft green with a yellow tone to the green. No gold, silvery undertone instead. We're trying to capture more of a McKee Jadite glass color rather than Fire King's bluer green. Silvery green sparkle. This is one of the sparkliest colors we offer, and very translucent. The color is rather subtle on, and mostly appears as intense sparkle. Not lip safe.
JAR OF SORROWS: Smokey plum, with strong pinkpurple shimmer. Soft blendable color with an iridescent quality. Matching pinkpurple glitter. This color contains a superfine eyesafe glitter.
KATERINA: This is a hard to find color- a soft pale lavender purple with an intense gold sparkle. While it isn't apparent when applied there is a bit of silver sparkle mixed too, to keep the gold from diluting the color too much. The pale violet remains noticeable on skin but it is a very light shade, and the gold is very sparkly. Opaque and while pale, not really a highlight shade, too much color.
KITSUNE YOKAI: An apt color to be named for a shapeshifter; the unusual iridescent quality it has is amazing, and the cool toned base color is very complex. Best described as a shimmery, greyed-out almost-violet with a bluish cast. It also has a unique iridescent quality- at an acute angle, the hidden purple iridescent flash shows. Green sparkle. Not lip safe.
KITTEN TOES: As adorable as, well, kitten toes! Nice highlight color- a pretty soft hint of pink color, with light pink iridescent flash. A subtle pale green sparkle adds interest, but it is not over the top.
LA BELLA DONNA: Beautiful but deadly. A poisonously rich iridescent royal purple with a bit of gold shimmer.
LACUNA: Absence- deepest black with intense silver sparkle. Good liner color.
LETHE: The depths will lull you, then pull you under. Iridescent turquoise and purple flash over hypnotic grey depths. Not lip safe.
LILITH'S DAUGHTERS: This is a warm dark color that almost seems a bit brown, but is a dark iridescent pinkishpeach flashing to greenish- with matching copper sparkle.
LIMP: Deep velvety black with intense green sparkle.
LISA'S BUSTED CAMARO: Guaranteed to perk you up even if your new Camaro strands you in BFE. A cheerful pale shell pink with perky pink iridescence and a friendly purple sparkle. Not lip safe.
LITTLE GREY KITTEN: Silver with intense silver sparkles. Opaque, and has a bit of grey tarnish to it. (Gorgeous with Low Red Moon lipgloss!) This is one of the most sparkly shades we have.
LOLITA'S LOLLIPOP: Sweet innocence, a lure straight into corruption. It appears to be a sweet pale pink, but if you tilt it a silvery mint green undertone is revealed; fully translucent with gold shimmer.
LUNA: Silvery brownish taupe with an intense silvery sparkle. This is a wee bit more grey than Submissive, but is still in the "perfect cool taupe" range. Shot through with intense silver sparkles. Applies rather opaque with a silky undertone. (Picture is a bit more grey than it actually is.)
LUNA SIDHE: Subtle blue violet with a blue green iridescent flash. Shimmery but not sparkly, rather opaque. Not lip safe.
MACHINE DARKNESS: Goes well with Dawnlight and Morningstar. Gunmetal grey shot through with pinkyred and silver sparkle.
M/ALICE: Deep raisiny taupepurple with silvery shimmer and purple shimmer- a lot like Fool in the Rain but much more purple. Not lip safe.
MADAME TERPSICHORE: An ultra sparkly pale color somewhere between taupe, grey, and purple- it tends to look like you have several shades on your eye. This is very similar in tone to Gloomy Sunday, but the silvery sparkle is kicked up a few notches to become very intense, and the color is a just a bit deeper too. This is one of the most sparkly colors we offer.
MAUSIE: A beautiful opaque metallic copper penny color with lots of orchid and fuschia sparkle.
MAXFIELD BLUE: That particular vivid blue found in Maxfield Parrish's skies. Sort of a rich, deep twilight color, not navy though, almost a darker denim with green and purple sparkle. Not lip safe. (Picture is a bit pale.)
mehitabel: A soft kittenish golden hued beige with silver and gold sparkle. Very like Seelie Court, but slightly deeper and sparklier, yet also more translucent. Intended to be paired with archy.
MEMENTO MORI: Warm plummy deep royal velvet purple, with a bit of purple iridescence, and scintillating with silver and green sparkles. This is perhaps the warmest true purple we offer that doesn't veer into burgundy. Opaque silky finish.
MIDNIGHT AEVAL: This is the darkest of the Aeval trio of teals. Blackened teal with silver sparkle, very dark and intense. Not lip safe.
MOONBATHING: A really unusual, unique multidimensional Your Lids But Better shade (at least if you have medium to pale skin, that is.) It is a soft peachypinktan with a rather opaque base and bits of greenishbrownish sparkle. Quite flattering indeed.
MORNINGSTAR: Deep raisiny taupepurple with silvery shimmer and purple shimmer- a lot like Fool in the Rain but much more purple. Not lip safe.Goes well with Breaking Dawn and Machine Darkness. This is a subtle highlight color, silverywhite base with moderate silver and pinkred sparkle.
MOUSE: This is probably the most "drab" color ever to appear on ArchetypeCosmetics.com, and as such, is incredibly wearable and basic ;-) It is The Taupe. Very simply a basic brownishgrey with very muted shimmer, perfect balance of brown and grey… flattering to all skin tones, and a total staple.
NIGHT JAGUAR: An unpurple color. It looks like a dark, deep plum at first- then you realize that it is actually the iridescence making it look purple, the actual base color is a black grey. The iridescence flashes into a hint of green at extreme angles, though it is somewhat subtle. Very wearable, and surprisingly subtle. A bit of green sparkle too.
NORTHERN LIGHTS: The ephemeral beauty of the aurora borealis is captured in this shade. The iridescent quality is totally unique- straight on, it is definitely a turquoise blue, but viewed from the side, it changes to a completely new color- a pinkpurple. Shot through with intense sparkle. Grey tones don’t dim the iridescent flash but make it more wearable.
NYMPH: Pale shimmery spring green, yellow undertones but not really golden. Not lip safe.
OCEANS OF THE NIGHT: Deep sluggish gelid greenblue, blackened and dark. Twinkling with bright blue sparks- not translucent but opaque blue sparkle. Not lip safe.
OIL SLICK: A gorgeous liner shade- a night-black base packed with multicolored sparkle. Coordinates with Abalone & Soap Bubble to create a unique smokey eye look.
OLD EIRE: Beautiful gemlike green, evocative of misty moors and cool lush rolling hills. Shimmery, a bit iridescent, and with restrained gold sparkle. Not lip safe. Reformulated 9/1/08.
OLEANDER: As a kid I pictured oleanders to be velvety plum colored flowers, dramatic, deadly, and rich- this is the same lush burgundy plum I pictured, kicked up with a helping of purple and aqua sparkle. (Boy was I disappointed to see that oleanders were pastel white and girly pink!)
ONCE UPON A TIME: Velvet superblack charcoal black suffused with a ton of intense redpink sparkle. (This color has the uber-black base and is very intense).
OPHELIA'S TEARS: Wistful hint-of-green in a shimmery opaque base with some quixotic coppery sparkle. Subtly colored and fabulous on. Not lip safe.
ORNAMENTS OF GOLD: A great liner when wet, this is a deep velvet black with packed with MEGA gold sparkle.
PAPAVER SOMNIFERUM: Velvety deep cool toned purple with aqua iridescence and blue sparkles- very much like the color the inside of the petals of some opium poppies. Deeper and cooler than Spooky.
PERSNICKETY: Blackened shimmery greygreen, more grey than green, with silver sparkle. Not lip safe.
PINK INSANITY: Iridescent mind bending pinkpurple with a bizarre silver, purple and hint-of-green flash. Purple sparkle tips it right over the edge. Not lip safe.
PIXIE POOP: This is a translucent-but-intense eye poppingly bright purple with an overlaying veil of turquoise iridescence and lots of twinkling green sparkles. Though similar to Exquisite Corpse, it is more intensely bright and purple. Conjunction is a similar base shade, but Pixie Poop is more translucent & iridescent, and sparkles green instead of turquoise.
PLASTIC PINK: Pink pink with extra pink on top. Super hot pinky pink, and, of course, loaded with matching opaque pink shimmer. Very intense and not translucent at all.
POISON PEN: Deep poisonous green, but alluringly lovely. Shimmery iridescent golden green, applies more opaque than sheer.
POPPY TEA: Addictively seductive. Mimics brown, without really being brown- it's a blackened golden intense shimmer with a bare hint of pinkorange iridescence.
PRESSED PANSY : The color of a pansy petal left to crumble to dust. Grey toned rich amethyst purple with aqua sparkle, neutral enough to be quite wearable even for non-purple-fans. Not lip safe.
QUEEN OF THE NILE: Regal gold yet very wearable. Tarnished beige gold with lots of gold sparkle, applies rather translucent. Sort of an old gold type of color, not brassy. The gold sparkle is incredibly intense.
RAVEN'S FEATHER: This is the subtle iridescent purple green found in the highlights of raven wings. Iridescent turquoise purple flash over a soft blueblack base. Slightly shimmery, not sparkly. Picture doesn't do it justice!
RED DEATH: Deepest night-sky black shot through with intense red sparkle. Great as a wet-liner. (Impossible to photograph well- the red sparkle won't show as red in the pic.)
SALAMMBO: One of the more amazing greens- this is a tropical, iridescent true green with a golden undertone, and some moderate gold glimmer. Applies very lushly with an intense coverage. One of the few lush greens that is lip safe.
SALAMMBO: Dark mossy green, with a bit of deep chocolate brown undertone and intense light green sparkle. Gorgeous! Not lip safe. Another camera-shy shade; the iridescence is invisible until applied.
SALMAGUNDI: Complicated, lovely, mournful. Smokey violet with purple and turquoise shimmer. Not lip safe.
SAMHAIN EVE: A dark solemn shimmery greyed brownish taupe, enlivened with a playful silver sparkle. Applies pearly opaque with moderate amount of silver sparkle.
SAVAGE GARDEN: Very subtle bluish greypurple color with an overlay of blue-turquoise iridescence over the top- tip to the side, and it flashes to pink purple. Orchid sparkle. Medium in tone. Not lip safe.
SEELIE COURT: All things bright and beautiful. Sunlit sheer gold light, with the barest hint of peachy pink tone. Nice as a cheek highlight too. Goes well with it's un-twin Unseelie, in a non-matchy sort of way.
SEX & CANDY: This is one of our most sparkly shades- it is a pale sparkly peachy pink with a bit of green sparkle mixed in, it applies very sheer- just a bare wash of peachyness and mega sparkle. Wearable even by those who shun peach eye color.
SEXY LIBRARIAN: Deepest velvet black with subtle pink sparkle. Intense and charcoaly. This is one of the shades that has the "uber-black" base color, it is very very dark and intense.
SHACKLED: One of the uber-blackened colors; this is a velvety black purple shimmer with lots of green sparkle.
SHROOM: Iridescent cool brown with a bit of green shimmer. Not lip safe. Medium translucent. (Photo is too green.)
SILK & CYANIDE: This is a delicate ashes-of-roses color, with some peach mixed in for wearability, with a subtle but interesting iridescent glow. Bright silver sparkle. Quite flattering and pretty.
SILK STOCKINGS: Shimmery complex neutral, cool toned. Hints of blue, violet, even taupe. Flashes several iridescent colors at different angles. Subdued and quite wearable, shimmery and lovely. Not lip safe.
SINISTER MOSS: Mid tone browngreen, with some coppery shimmer. Iridescent and translucent. Not lips safe.
SLY: An iridescent deep dark blue with a bare hint of a grape hue to it, packed with coppery sparkle, a unique and striking combination. Not lip safe.
SMOKING MIRROR: Utterly unique- this color is a medium to dark greypurplebrown and applies opaque with intense silver sparkle. The subtle base color appears greyish at first glance, but reveals hints of brown, violet, and even an almost-imaginary blue. There is also a fairly intense iridescent quality too- tilt this at an acute angle and it flashes pink, with a light silvery green being the highlight color. This is similar in base color to Beetlewing, Silk or Cydonia, but with less intense green iridescent highlight, and with mega sparkle. Not lip safe.
SOAP BUBBLE: This the highlight shade to be used with Abalone and Oil Slick for a smokey eye look with a rainbow twist. This is basically a sparkly, very translucent white with intense rainbow sparkle- almost pure sparkle with no opacity.
SOUTHERN TWILIGHT: Twilight below the Mason-Dixon line has a peculiar purple tinge. Deep grey with a cool bruised-violet undertone and a silvery shimmer. The color is primarily grey when applied, the purple is very subtle. Not lip safe.
SPIKE HEEL: Sexy, and edgy. This has a mid-tone grey base but is dominated with the intense red/pink iridescent flash and same color sparkle. (The pic is really not a good representative of this color; the iridescent shine is invisible, and it's the dominant quality.)
SPOOK: Dark, mysterious, cool. Deep crushed violet with eerie silver and aqua sparkles. Not lip safe.
SPRING LUNACY: A very light and airy translucent silvered violet, like the first crocuses peeking out of a snowdrift. Lovely highlight shade, it is a mix of moderately sparkly silver and purple bits, with the base violet shade being very subtle. The sparkle is medium, is perfect for a highlighter.
SPUN SUGAR: Sweet but never bland. A soft pale pink with a major green iridescent flash and some pale gold shimmer.
ST. ALIA-OF-THE-KNIFE: This is a medium iridescent blue shade, vibrant and lovely. It flashes from turquoise iridescence to an almost purple. There is a blue sparkle mixed with a restrained gold shimmer- the gold doesn't add any yellow, just a bit of sparkle that tones the body shade down a bit to a slightly less intense blue green. Not lip safe.
ST. ELMO'S FIRE: A beautifully odd color. The base color is a subtle warmer purplish plummy shade, muted and greyed a bit and hinting towards taupy brown around the edges; there is a quirky iridescent sheen to it, silvery/green/sortapink. Green sparkle. Medium in tone, opaque, surprisingly subtle. Very flattering & wearable! Not lip safe.
STARFALL: Cool shimmery light pink with lots of sparkle. Applies reasonably opaque.
STYX: This is a deep, greyed out hint of cold purple- no taupe tones. Intense silver sparkle. This is one of the most sparkly colors we offer. Not lip safe.
SUBMISSIVE: Taupe but hardly drab. This color has all the wearability of the best taupes, and it's the ideal mix of grey and light brown. Loaded with shimmer, to make it stand out from the crowd.
SUICIDE BRIDE: Pretty toned-down pinkish purple, with some grey to make it more subtle, with a subtle iridescent sheen that flashes from pink to silver to a hint of green. Blue sparkle. Not lip safe.
SUNSET SPICE: Earthy rich cinnamon with a surprising sage green twist to it- bronzed, iridescent and gorgeous. Reformulated 9/1/08.
SWITCH: Deepest burgundy with major gold sparkle and red iridescence.
THE BLACK DAHLIA: Velvety dark and yet packed with scintillating sparkly bits. Soft black with intense purple sparkle. Excellent liner.
THE GARGOYLE TREES: Deep smokey grey at first glance, but when applied the green tone hidden in the shadows of the grey appears. This is one of those colors that is so multidimensional you would swear you had applied two or three shades to highlight and lowlight. Yet the green remains subtle, iridescent and ephemeral over the deep grey. Shot through with intense silver sparkle. The green tends toward the bluer side, like the edges of a stormcloud. Not lip safe.
THE GREEN FAIRY: Intoxicating shimmery soft mossy grey yellowgreen with hallucinatory coppery iridescence; opaque finish. Lower shimmeriness than many, almost pearly. Not lip safe.
THE OAK KING: Very warm golden medium brown bronze. Intense gold/copper sparkle. Applies opaque. The result is very liquid-metal.
THE UNEASY DANCERS: Lovely teal blue, satiny and opaque with a soft, subtle gold shimmer and iridescence, and intense silver glitter. This color contains a superfine eyesafe glitter.
THIS NIGHT TO END: Uber blackened color. Iridescent color flashes from deep pinkpurple at an acute angle to a silvery color straight on, with silver glitter. This color contains superfine eye safe glitter.
TORN FISHNETS: This is a gorgeous, incredibly sparkly plum color, mid-tone. Though it is a plummy purple, this is not too warm, it is the perfect plum shade.
TRANSYLVANIAN CONCUBINE: Blackened shimmery forest green. Not lip safe.
TURKEY: Pairs beautifully with Gravy! This is a lovely barely-peach highlight shade with lots of intense silver, copper and gold sparkle.
TURQUOISE SERPENT: Warm golden brown with turquoise sparkle- very much like Xibalba but with no coppery tones.
TWILIGHT AEVAL: A trio along with Daybreak Aeval and Midnight Aeval; this is Daybreak Aeval-y, but with a slightly darker twist. Silver sparkle instead of gold, and the teal is a bit less intense, and a bit darker... also a bit bluer, rather than the more green Daybreak Aeval. Not lip safe.
UNSEELIE COURT: The embodiment of shadows. Excellent as a wet liner. Sparkly blackened plum. Pairs well with it's un-twin Seelie, though not in a matchy way.
UNWRAP ME: Pairs perfectly with Candy Cane Kisses- this is a color I've wanted to make for EVER. It is a true, eff-me-red sparkle with pure intense velvet black base. For best payoff, apply as a wetliner. Why is this color possible? Because it contains eye safe ultra-fine plastic glitter; you can't get a pure red sparkle any other way.
VAGINA DENTATA: Deep velvety plum with intense golden sparkle, sexy but a bit dangerous. Much richer purpleplum than Switch. (Yes, we know it's horrifying, but we couldn't resist naming a color Vagina Dentata- an old room mate actually made a model out of mink and dentures, which was... unforgettable.) Not lip safe.
VALLEY OF THE KINGS: Never seen anything like this one before. It's a metallic intense opaque bright sunny-hued gold, with a twist- turquoise sparkle.
VEIL OF SHADOWS: A pearly dove grey with a surprise subtle pale red iridescence. This is one of the few pearly (not sparkly or shimmery) shades we offer. Translucent like the name implies.
VENUS FLY TRAP: Ultra golden iridescent green- like the backs of certain beautiful beetles. Gold sparkle. Opaque and very intense. The green is quite dimensional due to the iridescent effect.
VERRE DE SOIE: The 'silk glass' of the same name created by Steuben has this exact muted iridescence. Translucent silvery sheen with a shifting iridescent highlight that appears green, purple, silver, or pink, with a purple sparkle to give it a kick.
WEEPING WILLOW: This is a gorgeous, transparent highlight shade. Delicate cool iridescent very pale green- no yellow tones at all- with intense orchid purple sparkle. Kind of goofy but quite lovely, and though it sound like the sparkle would clash, it's actually a nice combination. Not lip safe.
WITCHING HOUR: A wearable deep blue- it's got a dose of grey to knock the blue back a bit, but the purple iridescence and silver sparkle keep it interesting. Not lip safe.
WORMWOOD: Soft green corrupted with gold. Fabulous complex and dimensional shade of mid-tone greyed-out green, with intense gold shimmer. Not lip safe.
XIBALBA: According to Mayan legend, Xibalba ("Place of Fear") is the name of the entrance to the Underworld, ruled by Demons; traditionally believed to be a cave in Guatamala. A warm coppery golden brown with intense blue sparkle. Metallic and opaque.
YOWIE THE NIGHT BEAST: A frighteningly freaky color- super intense bright metallic orangegold. Shimmery, opaque and with gold and red sparkle. Best on darker complexions.
ZELJANA: Eerie intense teal, more green than blue, with lovely electric blue sparks. This is the greenest of the teals, no gold in this one at all either.
